The prius entire focus is on mpg, mine drove fine but it was slow and heavy, sometimes felt like a boat. Its all about aerodynamics, and being able to coast through winds.Nothings changed for the 22 model as far as sound deadening goes. It’s a fairly noisy cabin with a fairly noisy engine. Like people have stated before you need to step up to the Venza or a Lexus to have a quieter ride. If you’re coming from a five or 10 year old vehicle it’s going to be pretty quiet to you. [deleted]Yes get em, it's a game changer it you've driven without them. But still drive slow and brake slow, you can get rear ended by somebody with all seasons. I would definitely get snow tires. In Ontario, you get a discount on insurance for having them. And the extra traction will give you an extra safety margin. The OP was just asking what color they should get nothing asked about easy maintenance and it was just my personal opinion because that's the color I chose for my 2021 Rav4 XSE Hybrid and your right it does look dirtier than a lighter color car driving down the same dirt road and both equal in dirt the dark color will always look dirtier that being said that's the … In my experience Toyotas have the body fall apart before the engine. If a new hybrid rav4 is $35k and lasts 200k+ miles, 5k for that car is ok if you need a car today and have a backup car, because all the surprise mechanical issues will emerges towards the end of a cars life. For reference a 2019 rav4 pre Covid base msrp was $25k. All the dealers have a lot of politics going on. If you pay MSRP no will contact you and even a gas model will take 4-5 months. Any cancellations of other cars during that period you won't be informed. Toyota manufacturing issues apart, the dealerships have started a money making racket to worsen this. This give the prime a 2500 lbs tow capacity (in US) vs a 1750 lbs on the Hybrid. It also allows the Prime to go 0-60 in 5.4 sec vs 7.3 in the hybrid. Packages may differ as well. The prime battery sits partly below the floor so structurally it's impossible to put it into the hybrid. Curious how an HRV even remotely fit into your search. It’s a much smaller and cheaper car than the 50 and RAV4. CRV would be the best comparison to the group (we traded a 2017 EX-L to get our 2023 CX-50 Turbo P). Something like cabin noise is very subjective. If your coming from a more luxury vehicle that has great sound dampening then it will sound loud asf, but actually be normal. And vice versa. The rav4 has never been known to be great on cabin noise. Especially the 2019 models as they had no hood blanket for insulation. CX-5 lacks space for rear-facing child seats, won't fit. CX-50 is more spacious (still less than CRV) CRV is better than RAV4. If you want space and a good deal try Subaru Forester. oneonus. •. Rav4 drives like a tank, would never own one. Drive the CX5 and CRV and pick the one you like more. Both will be very reliable, with CX5 being more ... If going for a RAV4, go for Hybrid or Plugin, as well as XLE premium or higher trims. You might find other non-luxury crossovers like CRV, Subaru, Rogue, Tucson etc. Tucson has a better infotainment and interior look. RAV4 might take the last spot w.r.t infotainment. In my experience Toyotas have the body fall apart before the engine. Over all Smoother, quiter driving experience. Disliked the 8 speed tranny. I immediately missed the quick responsiveness of the e-cvt and the electric motors. I got 22 mpg on the adventure. I easily get 35-42mpg on my hybrid without trying. There is no real downside to the hybrid. The RAV4 interior is a lot more "basic" than the CR-V. It's well done and it looks decent, but it's far from the luxury look of the CR-V. It has more space inside, at least visually speaking, I didn't measure anything. The visibility is much better and the transmission is so, so much better than the Honda. Don’t need to go all out and get a new amp or sub or anything, simply changing the stock speakers to something nicer with the same wattage is a big upgrade. Raptor lights in the front grill look awesome (4 small led lights embedded across the grill, they make cheap kits). Roof rack if you’re ever going to need that. The CX-5 AWD system seems to work better. Interior Feel- Again, not much to say, the CX-5 is much nicer inside in most respects, it just feels so much nicer, the Rav4 felt flimsy inside.
